Responsibilities of Candidate:-
- Design, code, enhance, and test financial software applications within the MIS Tech domain, primarily utilizing Java/J2EE tech stack.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills to devise solutions that align with business requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous development of web applications based on a service-oriented architecture, encompassing UI, services, and databases.
- Collaborate with development team leads and architects on technical and architectural aspects, engaging with business analysts, developers, and QA analysts.
- Evaluate functional requirements for new requests, translating them into meaningful design and development tasks.
- Engage with globally dispersed development teams in a cross-functional environment to support business requirements.
- Document and establish procedures for software application installation and maintenance.
- Participate actively in design, architecture, and code reviews, fostering a collaborative development environment.
- Operate in an Agile environment, ensuring progress tracking towards key deliverables.
- Provide essential Production Support for applications, including incident resolution, root cause analysis, code defect fixes, data analysis, and troubleshooting.
Skills:
- Proficient in SQL and possesses a strong foundation in database concepts.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and development principles.
- Well-versed in Java-based frameworks, including JPA, Springboot, Spring, and Hibernate.
- Experienced in Microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Knowledgeable in build/dependency management tools like Maven and SCM tools such as Subversion, Bit Bucket, GitHub, etc.
- Expertise in application containerization with tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Platform9, ECS, EKS, Openshift, and Cloud Foundry.
- Exposure to various services such as API Gateway, IAM, S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS, Kafka, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration in a team-oriented environment.
